WHO WE ARE
Arson Party is a progressive/thrash metal band which formed in Kalamazoo, MI in 2010. Over the last five years, the band has played countless bars and basements (and a couple of barns) throughout the Great Lakes region. Their crowdfunded, self-produced debut album, Fall of the Rising II, was released on May 15, 2014. Previous releases include a 7-song EP, Fall of the Rising I (2012) and a four-song demo, Catch This Fire (2010). Other career highlights include a tied first-place finish out of 30+ acts in the 2015 Old Dog Tavern battle of the bands and sharing the stage with Straight Line Stitch at Hogg Bash X in summer 2014.
Continually pushing their own limits, the band wins over crowds of metalheads and non-metalheads alike with their high-energy live shows. Whether on the muddy fields of a festival, the backroom of a bar, or the dingiest DIY basement, Arson Party never fails to melt some faces.
